Dear Lord, thank You for Your chosen leaders. Help me to submit to the leadership of the church and to support those in authority over me. Help me to realize that this pleases and honors You. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.

Father God, I don’t know how You do it. How do You have such patience for Your people? I become so impatient when I am dealing with just one person, but You handle the stubbornness of all Your people. Help me develop the heart You have. In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen. 　

Sovereign Lord, I know You are in control of all things, and I praise You for that. But sometimes I lack faith and begin to fear things around me instead of fearing You. Build up my faith in the areas of weakness by teaching me Your truth through Your Word." In Jesus’s name. Amen. 　

O Lord, thank You for the way You have guided me in the past. I love You because You are my shepherd and I know Your voice. When You lead me, I am comforted.
But when You tell me to go on ahead of You, my faith falters. Strengthen my faith in those times, and teach me to be more desperate for Your voice in my life.

Just God, we know that You call us to seek justice and yet embrace those who fall outside it. We confess that we have not been faithful at embracing others and caring for others for we were busy caring for ourselves. Give us the heart that reaches out to others and prays for them. In Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.
