My ribs aren't enough to protect my heart from pain so I took it out and locked it in a glass trinket and threw away the key. hoping that by doing this I wouldn't get myself hurt. I walked with a hallow chest, always cautious that people might see that my heart is not where its suppose to be. But no matter how much I wanted to protect my heart from being broken, The severed veins that connected to it just won't heal. Even if I wanted to put my heart back to its place I couldn't do so. The glass trinket that holds my heart won't open. The key that would unlock it is gone. So I have to look real hard... Until that day that I will find it, I have to walk my days with a hallow space in me, holding the glass trinket and bearing the cold place where my heart lies solely.
