Human Rights (Dec 29, 2008 7:18 pm)
Around the world, it really disgusts and makes me angry some countries that do not have democracy and instead have bad governments, do not respect human rights, in fact I don't think these governments even care one bit about the basic human rights violations they are doing everyday. Some countries are worse than others. For me as a person who loves democracy, peace and equal rights for all, it makes me wonder why do the developed countrires with the better governments and laders who are aware of what's going do something about it? People like Bush, Cheney, Chertoff, Blair, Rice, and other leaders know what's going on but Britian, France, South Korea, Japan, and the United States don't take a more proactive approach to the oppressive governments by boycotting their products and putting sanctions on the countries? The totalitarian governments oppress, torture, beat, execute, imprision, and send people to labor camps where they are then tortured brutally there too, they also go and kill there own people by shooting them, rolling over them with tanks, killing hundreds of them and these people are unarmed civilians! Public execution in front of children and starving people to death as a form of torture also happens. People are sometimes arrested and thrown in jail without trials too, where they are also tortured there too! Iran and China execute the most people in the world and one of the worst culprits of these practices. North Korea ia worst in the world and with the Darfur crisis contuinng in Sudan, they are also have the janjaweed milita raping the women bceause they are women and killing the men and children too. In North Korea, the people are starving and the Kim regime tortueres, does public excution in front of children, and beats and kills it people in labor camps and the people are grouped into people's communes so that the government can report on their whereabouts. Finally, in China, they repress people who are relgious like the Uhighur Muslims, the Falun Gong, are tortured and opressed brutally and the Tibetan Bhuddists are also as the March 2008 riots in Lahasa attest. In additon, the Chinese government has a draconian Internet serverlliance progam with 30,000 cyber cops who force the poeple to login into a special login so that all of their e-mails are monitered and the people are not allowed to have "freedom", "equal rights or human rights" in their e-mails and they can't criticized the Chineese government in their e-mails. Of course people are also tortured and beaten and killed sometimes by the government if the government suspects them of participating in behavior that the Chinese government thinks these people are a threat their power in the Politburo Standing Comittee and the ability of the communist leaders like Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao to stay in power, just like in North Korea with Kim regime and North Korea is an enemy and China is supposed to be an ally! Why can 't we wake up to the oppression around the world and boycott, refuse to travel to, and sanction these countries until the governments change and make political reform? I want to do that. I hope it will work.

Today, China's leaders still do it and they still seem to follow Maoist thought and read his "Little Red book" still and think of him as a god even though he killed millions of Chinese people in the 1950s and 1960s.
