I had a few tourists visiting from East coast tonight. Most tourists laugh about one thing on the menu just like them tonight. It is Green Chile Tempura. It is actually pretty good and has been on the menu since the day Izmi opened even if I have been adding and deleting a few items under appetizers. It may be my pure opinion but sometimes tourists think Sushi in Santa Fe or at Izmi is the extension of SW cuisine and not very authentic. Well...I do not want to talk about this too far but Sushi in America is not real authentic Japanese cuisine but there is nothing wrong about that either.
Food is just like a live animal. It can be transformed into new style wherever it goes and whoever develops it. Well... that is just my opinion. Good night ^___^
