Clazziquai
( Classic+Jazz+Groove) is a Korean fusion band that combines several genres, relevant to Shibuya-Kei movement, including electronica, acid jazz and house. Their first short unofficial albums were released online in 2001, spreading their music through words of “netizens,” who deemed this new music fresh and unique in its creative mixing of distinct genres. They remained underground until in 2004, their first official album 'Instant Pig' amazed the people who expected Korean pop to be contrived and rudimentary, selling over 80,000 copies. Since then, their music has been used in various CFs and movies, also performing as one of the most wanted guest bands in various events.
