The 2008 draft has come and gone and now it is time to find out who was drafted and what happened during the 3-hour special!How the draft works is there are inter-brand matches and the superstar that wins will gain a draft pick for thier brand!!!! Below are the matches and who got drafted.
First Match: WWE Champion Triple H vs. Mark Henry (RAW vs. Smackdown
Winner: Triple H (RAW)
Notes: This match favored The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry, however after a while The Game fought back and hit the Silver Back with an attempt at a Pedigree. The first failed but Triple H came right back and hit Henry with another Pedigree this time he succeeded. This allowed RAW a draft pick!
RAW Drafted: Rey Mysterio (Smackdown-RAW)
Second Match: Finlay and Hornswoggle vs. Santino Marella and Carlito(Smackdown vs. Raw)
Winner: Finaly and Hornswoggle (Smackdown)
Notes: This tag team match was over in just a few minutes.
Smackdown Drafted: Jeff Hardy (RAW-Smackdown)
Third Match: Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly vs. Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely (RAW vs. ECW)
Winner: Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly (RAW)
Notes: Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly were the crowd favorites. Also Ted Dibiase was at ringside.This was a well fought match however Hardcore Holly got in his "Alamabama Slamma" resulting in the champions reinging victorious.
RAW drafted: CM Punk (ECW-RAW)
Fourth Match: John Morrison and The Miz vs. The Hardyz
Winner: John Morrison and The Miz
Notes: were scheduled to face off agianst Cody Hawkins and Zack Ryder from Smackdown however Vickie Guerrero came out before the match and annouced that thier new opponents were going to be Matt Hardy and his brother who just was drafted to Smackdown, Jeff Hardy.
The Charismatic, Hardy Boyz were obviously favored however while Matt Hardy was distracted John Mrrison stole a victory resulting in a draft pick for ECW.
ECW drafted: United States Champion, Matt Hardy (Smackdown-ECW)Fifth Match: Women's Champion, Mickie James and Melina vs. Natalya and Victoria (RAW vs. Smackdown)
Winner: None
Notes: It was a Annoucer-only draft pick meaning that the commentators were the only people able to be drafted.This was an emotional match however Melina was thrown out of the ring in which she landed awkwardly on her ankle. With her out Mickie James was trying to protect her once enemy against her present enemies however after Victoria exited the ring both her and Melina were counted out. This resulted in a double-DQ match. Which meant the both RAW and Smackdown were to be awareded a draft pick.

RAW's draft: Michael Cole (Smackdown-RAW)
Sixth Match: John Cena vs. World Heavyweight Champion Edge (RAW vs. Smackdown)
Winner: John Cena (RAW)
Notes: These 2 have had a long and rough past which made this match even more brutal.So brutal infact that Edge left the Ring and had himself counted out but Batista wouldn't have that and came out and attacked The Rated R Superstar.

Seventh Match: MVP vs. Tommy Dreamer (Smackdown vs. ECW)
Winner: MVP (Smackdown)
Notes: Colin Delaney came out wiith Tommy Dreamer and stood at Ringside cheering on his Mentor. However that was to no prevail becase MVP got in his devastating kick.
Smackdown's draft: Umaga (RAW-Smackdown)
Eighth Match: JBL vs. Kofi Kingston (RAW vs. Smackdown)
Winner: JBL (RAW)
Notes: JBL dominated throughtout the entire match but only did his clothesline allow him to win.
RAW's draft: Kane (ECW-RAW)
Ninth Match: 15 man Battle Royal (ECW vs. RAW vs. Smackdown)
Winner: Smackdown
Notes: Smackdown's superstars were; Big Show, Great Khali, Jeff Hardy, MVP, Edge.
RAW's Superstars were; John Cena, Kane, Batista, CM Punk, and Triple H.
ECW's Superstars were; Tag Team Champions, The Miz and Morrison, U.S. Champion, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, and Chavo Guerrero. The Winning brand won two draft picks. When it came down to Triple H and John Cena and Edge, Cena turned on Triple H sending him over the ropes however while he was distracted Edge was able to knock the Chang Gang Soldier over the ropes. Also Batista was cracked open when he and Edge collided.
