The Gazette Fan Club!
the GazettE is an indie Japanese rock band of the visual kei variety. The band was formed in early 2002 and is currently signed to PS Company, a notable production company that has also served the likes of miyavi, alice nine., and Kagrra,. To many non-fans, they’re compared to Dir en grey, but in actuality the bands have few similarities. This comparaison held true for some of the band’s older songs such as ‘maximum impulse’ in which they mix dark and heavy verses with joyful and upbeat choruses like on a lot of Dir en grey’s songs. However during an interview in the magazine FOOL ’s MATE , most members have cited Luna Sea to be their favorite and most respected band.

The name change is due to Gazette being written in kana while the GazettE is always written in English. If you look at early Gazette merchandise...
