I am in my final week of the semester at Hansung University.  I am preparing final tests, which will be given this week, so I'm a bit behind in my journal writing.

I went to church today, but could barely stay awake because it was really warm in there.  They had an incredible soloist who can really sing, but some guy who must have a mental condition was crying loudly during much of it.

MJ and I are back together.  I miss her not being in my life, and she stands by me in everything, which is wonderful.  I have come to miss her strength and friendship these past few weeks.  She's always there for me when I've needed her -- even when I didn't realize it.  She is very dedicated and caring, unlike some other people I've known here.  She just texted me on the phone.

It's Wednesday, and I got a haircut.  I also colored it a bit, given my somewhat failed attempt at coloring it myself last time.  It looks better.  It really isn't fun growing old and getting gray hairs. 

In other news, I traded some text messages with MJ today, which was nice.  Also, I went to Hyewha with Bianca (one of the other English teachers/professors here) and we ate salads with chicken.  I introduced her to low-priced side-orders from Bennigans.  It's nice to go to Hyewha sometimes.  Bianca sent some photos from her party a few weeks ago.  There is one of me, but it's so horrible, I won't post it here.  Here is one I snapped of her, though:

Here is a story I wrote for the school newspaper.  It was originally over twice as long, but they made me cut it down.  I was sad, because the long version is much better.  Check back here, and I will post the long version of the story (which is much more descriptive) eventually.  You can click this image to make it big enough to read. 

I went to church at Sarang church in Kangnam again today.  I went to the 2pm service, and I really enjoyed it.  I think I will go back again next week.  My friend, Eun Sang and his wife saw me and called.  We had coffee at "Twosome Place."  They will have their baby in 2 months.  His wife Heekyoung barely looked pregnant!  Tristan kept teasing that she needs to eat more.  Maybe so!

I got a good laugh out of this photo, which was placed above each urinal at Techno-Mart.  I went there looking for a new phone battery today, and just to get out of the house.  They were out of batteries at the service center, but I did find an AC timer for my turtle's light.  I couldn't find one of those anywhere around here, so I was happy to get it.

I stayed home tonight and didn't go anywhere.  Kind of a boring Saturday night.   I ordered a pizza and watched two movies by myself -- Hollow Man 2 and Ali.  Maybe tomorrow, I'll go to church.
