Food Trucks Wandering the Streets

In Korea, there are trucks with loudspeakers wandering the streets selling stuff.  Sometimes they park on the corner near my window at 9am.  It is interesting at first, then they become annoying, and after a few years, you don't notice them.  The first time I heard one of these things five years ago, I though they were warning people of some natural disaster, or that North Korea was about to attack.  This one is selling strawberries.  Sometimes they sell fruit, fish, candy, even crab.  People come out of their homes to buy stuff, if they want.  I think a lot of farmers come into Seoul to make money this way.  I bought a new plant from one of these trucks last weekend, and saved about half (it was big a $40 plant I got for $20 -- I'll add a photo soon).  By the way, they don't have American-style pickup trucks here.  These trucks are small, but have fold-down sides, which are great for loading/unloading.
