Hi, my name is rose. and just this last thursday i recieved a shocking email informing me of the suicide of someone from my church synod. Although I was never his close friend, he was a brother in christ and reading the terrible news picked at my heart. He was 21, just a few years older than myself. Active in church.
My first thought is why? why would someone let them get to the point where they think the only option is death.
and then, it hurt me to think, that someone so active in our church youth group and synod, could be so careless to forget, or overlook or somehow let it slip his mind, that no matter what happens, or who lets you down, or what you do wrong, or how the world weighs you weary, that none of that compares to the neverending never dieing never swaying love of God. and that makes life worth it. no matter what.
Having said that, i would like to share with ya'll a song that really hits homebase to my heart and this subject. Please just follow this link:

I'm sure that 99/100 of you reading this aren't suicidal or depressed, but please watch the video anyway. It seems, from my own experience anyway, that its always nice to be reminded that your loved.
So if you don't believe in God, please don't shrugg this off because i mentioned "church" 10 times in this post. You can just know that he is there, and if that is too 'much' of a concept to grasp then just remember that i love you. you may not hold it as too much to live for, but i want you to know, if you have no one else- i love you. i'm happy to be your friend when you need one or just a simple reminder that someone cares.
Please take care
~rose
Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.
If you would please post your thoughts I'd be happy to talk with you on the subject.
Also if there are any prayer requests or troubles that you are having, feel free to post them and share them with others so they can pray for you. Spread your burdens with friends and lighten your load of troubles and heart.

Great song. I'm sorry he commit suicide. This may sound cruel, but maybe it was better he kill himself than lose himself and kill others. I still sympathize with his loved ones, but maybe their is a reason why God aloud that to happen.
