My name is Brian Hallacy..

I am from Pittsburg, KS. I am finally graduating with my undergrad degree in Political Science. I will be 27 next month and worry that I am way too far behind. I want to go to grad school in the area of international relations or international studies. I would like to go to a school somewhere new for me; east coast, Hawaii, or Europe. But money is always an issue.

I spent a year in Korea as an exchange student, and have many Korean and Taiwanese friends. I also lived a couple years in LA before going back to school here in Kansas.

I like to play sports, almost anything; basketball, baseball, golf, football, soccer, frisbee, softball, etc.. I wanted to be a pro athlete when I was young but I am not so competitive.. and not quite that athletic.

I have visited China and Thailand as well as airports in Taipei and Tokyo (but I dont think that counts). My favorite place was Phuket, Thailand.. it was after the tsunami but the place was still so amazing..

There are a few things that I have not put here because I consider them too personal.. but if anybody has a question I will gladly answer. and I do enjoy meeting new people, it makes life more exciting...

oh and if anybody has comments about anything pertaining to gov't, culture etc.. I would be happy to hear your opinions and I will reply with my own.. you can also check the club I started "world politics".

thanks for taking the time to read my shpiell..

Brian..
