Ever since i've gotten my (enchanted!) rose quartz pendant i've been meeting such wonderfull men. my boss is really cute. he's the... dignified old, you know? let me see... how can i explain it...? ok. he's 41 (?) and he's got a good singing voice, (please dont ask how i know that! XD ), he's cute. i have to admit it. he really is. like cute college proffesor cute, you know?, and he totally respects me! >:) hehe, he called in just to leave me in charge! haha! that won a lot of brownie points with me. ok. i like him. so? who hasnt liked their boss? but let's move on to the rest of them. our guard is cute. sweet too. kinda cheeky, but i can work with that. doesnt impress me much as my boss does, but meh. and then there's my ex-boss' son! (*sings*) he must be THE coolest person i've ever met! he's funny, good looking, young, the only person in the real world who's been able to keep me interested in a coversation for more than 10 minutes. my god. i like him the best. and i think he liked me too! :D (*excited*) but i dont get to see him to often. (*sighs*) but if were meant to be, who knows right?
and you know what? screw that idiot. im not waiting anymore!!! time for lizzy to have some fun!!!
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
but in the end... it doesnt even matter you know? because a few nights ago, i met the perfect man. the one meant for me. and it was only in a dream. the effect he had on me was soooo strong, that i actually managed to become lucid in the dream and wake myself up, just so i can write everything down. (*sighs*) he shot down any chance i had at having a relationship with a mortal man. now all i can do... is just wait for him. but for him i can. our dreams are signs, you know? i'll meet him. someday. and when i do, i hope he recognizes me too. :)
i'll still keep wearing the pendant, because who knows? maybe it'll draw him to me. and in the meantime, i can always have some fun with these guys. ;) though, i do wish that it wasnt so... proper. hehe, i did mention i can do either after all. ;P
while im here, let me give you some news on the latest happenings in my city. a gang from san salvador has come. there a real piece of work. they tend to crash into your car, take you out, and beat the living hell out of you, while at the same time mugging you. not a pretty sight. especially for a girl who walks home at night alone. but i know im protected. by the spirits of course. and i've just gotten a spirit made only for that purpose. i havent met him yet because he hasnt arrived, but im already excited on meeting him. i hope he is too!

Crucial Characteristics of Lasting Love
First comes that split second of physical attraction. Next that thrilling feeling of chemistry. But when the veil of romance starts to lift, what's life really like off the dance floor?
Too often, love is blind.

Dating experts outline seven match areas to consider:

  1. Physical appearance
While physical appearance and attraction draw two people together at first, these aspects will affect the rest of their lives. If working out and staying fit is important to you, will it bum you out if your mate doesn't share your quest for rock hard abs?

  2. Emotional maturity
Is this person emotionally mature and centered or are they still lugging around some trunk-sized baggage? How does your sweetheart relate to family and friends? Is he or she emotionally supportive or have control issues? Is your mate aware of his or her own issues and interested in addressing them?

  3. Lifestyle choices
This includes career and social lives, common interests, leisure time activities and energy levels. Would she rather join the bowling league or the metropolitan symphony? Does he have lots of energy for activities with friends while she'd rather rest and chill out at home?

  4. Financial style
This is a hot bed for most couples. It includes income levels, financial goals and views on handling money. How do you each want to spend, save and invest? Is one person a spender while the other saves? Is one person financially responsible while or the other plays catch-up with child support and bills?

  5. Value structure
This match area is often overlooked but has a tremendous impact on your life. It includes the big values: Honesty, integrity, loyalty, views on family and children, religion and spirituality, life goals and the treatment and care for others. Does your mate follow through on her word? Would you say he's trustworthy? Will she always be there for you in a pinch?

  6. Marriage and sex
Everyone does not share the same idea of marriage. The big questions to address are: What do you and your mate expect from marriage and sex? Is he or she looking for a soul mate? Do you both want close intimacy in friendship, communication and sex?

  7. Intelligence
Having similar education levels increases your chances of sharing matching school and social experiences, intellectual interests and career goals. What topics do you and your honey like to talk about? Conversation limited to sports or shopping may get boring to someone who likes to ponder philosophy and bluster about business.

i think this article speaks for itself quite well. :3

<p><font face="... (Mar 20, 2008 12:13 pm)

It's the first day of spring, and our lovely buffalo weather has decided to grace us with some snow. ugh. i mean, i dont mind it, but come on! it's spring! my most favorite ever season! please make it rain! i want to see into the enchanted fey realm!
actually, this is something i just learned. it's a sort of spell to help you see into the other realm.
ok, this is what you have to do:

go out and place a bowl under a tree on a day (or night!) when it's going to rain.
afterwards, once it's filled and the rain has stopped. go outside and sit next to it. hmm... i forgot to mention that the bowl shouldnt be directly under the tree, just by it. anyways, once your there, take your left hand, (left because it is the one associated with magic) and place it above the bowl, a few inches away from the water. from there pass it over the water three times.
this is your portal now to the fey realm.
and now, i think all you have to do is apply basic scrying skills and you should be okay. with this kind of thing, believing is everything. (the little folk dont appreciate skeptics!) and well, just make sure your protected and stuff, (imagine a white light surrounding you.) and well, yeah, enjoy!

actually, another thing about the fey, they dont like it when you thank them. (dont ask me why.) so if you ever make contact, just leave them a gift. :)
ok. that was random, but anyways, im not responsible for anything that happens or doesnt. so there. :P
anyways, here i am, typing away, and listening to MIKA. god, i love him! <3
so the guard, his name is eric, and he's 22 years old. (i think i mentioned that already?) he's really not my type considering. cause his hispanic, (i grew up with them, i dont want anymore to do with the lot! >:O ) and he has a rather boyish face... >_> i like my men to LOOK like men. hehe. but we do have something in common! he's into ebay too! yayness!!!
and omg. i had the most ever disturbing dream about him. (lol. and after one day of meeting him too!) and in it, were sitting around on the sofa, and he sits REALLY close to me, and puts his arm behind my chair. ok. nothing bad about that right? WRONG! because in the dream, i actually didnt mind. my god. and then, (and this gets even more random) he takes my hand and studies my nails. um. wth?
and, it's not the first time i've been having dreams of this nature. you know, in romantic (?) situations, but i think i know the cause of them.
a few weeks ago, i had this one lady cast a spell in my name. with the spell came a rose quartz in order to help strenghten the spell. i wear the necklace with me whenever i go out, and place it under my pillow at night. well. guess what? rose quartz is the stone associated with love and romance. yup. i screwed myself over im sure. but hey, maybe it will work, right? i believe in her. she said that the spell went very well. so nothing to worry about. i SHOULD be wearing it ALL THE TIME, but... well, i know no one is going to visit my house, and well yeah. -.-
anyways, i wrote alot this time, so i'll stop.
actually, im also going to stop italicing the font, cause with the new system it looks kinda... icky.
anyways, bye-bye for now!

-Lizzy

p.s. actually, i really shouldnt even be on the lookout for a new partner all in all considered... hee, im going to hell. ^^;

p.s.s. i found a REALLY good website for understanding the craft. here's the link to it: http://www.white-witch.org/
and also, for those interested, (i thought i might as well add this) here's a link on how you can make a simple scrying mirror: http://www.pathcom.com/~newmoon/mirror.htm
ok, now it's time for good-bye! XD

Were getting a new boss at work this week. my old boss having gotten a job at the main library working with children. im happy for her and i want to do something special for her. im thinking about giving her a jar full of wish stars embedded with the energy of my hopes for her. i hope she likes it. hee, and they do work, believe me.
like, ok, i gave one to one of my coworkers, and she wished she had extra money, and 'poof!' the next day, her husband came home with an extra bonus. oh yeah. im good.
anyways, the new boss seems... nice. the only thing is, that he's a dude. (*sighs*)
and there going to be adding new people as well. and secretly, im hoping that they wont even consider hiring half that came. im a bad person i know, but i need someone to gossip with.
ah well.
anyways, have you ever felt that you dont belong? and not like just for a second or two, but always? um, ok, just... read this:

Do you never quite feel comfortable in your own skin? Do you never quite feel like you belong in the reality around you? Imagine being born into a foreign world yet remembering all the rules of behavior that you had learned in your previous existence. Furthermore, imagine knowing at the core of your very soul that you were once something very different from what you are now, but being unable to really prove this to others – or even to yourself. That is the essence of Otherkin.“Otherkin” is a collective noun for an assortment of people who have come to the somewhat unorthodox, and possibly quite bizarre, conclusion that they identify themselves as being something other than human (ex: the fey, elves, dragons, vampires).Otherkin are individuals who believe that they are somehow “other” than human. While they walk around in human bodies, that is not the nature of their souls. Some Otherkin believe in a genealogical difference that separates them from ordinary people while the vast majority take a reincarnational stance that hinges upon the different lives – and bodies – they have held in the past. Otherkin are not to be confused with extraterrestrials. There are certain portions of the New Age movement which accept that “greys” and “Nordic type” aliens have visited Earth in the past and continue to visit in the present. Within this ufological worldview, many people accept that these aliens have either helped to genetically engineer humanity or have interbred with humans outright. These beliefs are typically explained within a scientific, or a pseudo-scientific paradigm. Each different type of ‘kin typically has their own subculture and often their own worldview. Frequently, there are many sub-groups within a general type, such as the elves, which include Listari and Elenari, to name but a few. Some Otherkin remember entire histories of their previous races. Others just feel their difference like a nagging itch on their soul. They are entirely magical beings. The word “Otherkin” is really a blanket term which encompasses a vastly diverse collection of individuals. To even call the Otherkin a community sometimes seems a bit of a stretch, because frequently those who identify themselves as Otherkin have very little in common with one another beyond their inherent otherness. Among the various types of ‘kin I have met and interacted with, there have been elves and faeries, dragons, dryads, cat-kin, wolf-kin, and some ‘kin that have defied definition entirely.
If all of this sounds like utter madness, don’t worry. Even the Otherkin admit that their beliefs are far-fetched. A lot about this community would have been really hard for me to swallow had it not been for the ‘kins’ own acute awareness of how crazy they can sound, especially to outsiders. Almost all statements made by the Otherkin are prefaced with disclaimers like “I know this is going to sound strange, but …” or, “I have no way of proving this, but I believe I’m a …”
Most Otherkin also submit their beliefs and experiences to a rigorous amount of personal skepticism. They are very aware that there is a fine line between a belief in the fantastic and succumbing to fantasy. Articles on various Otherkin sites, as well as numerous presentations at Otherkin gathers address this issue, and most community leaders offer tips to help inexperienced ‘kin separate reality from delusion.
Like all groups, they have their share of clearly delusional people, wannabees, and hangers-on, but over the years I have met a number of very articulate, intelligent, and credible people who also just happen to be Otherkin. These have included a youth counselor who was also an elf, an angel who worked on the New York police force, and a dragon who worked as a system administrator. The angel, appropriately enough, worked valiantly throughout September 11 and its aftermath.
Being Otherkin is not easy. Nor is it really a choice. While an Otherkin’s nature is often accompanied with a predilection for magick and spirituality, “Otherkin” is neither a religion nor a spiritual path. It is simply a state of being.
The legitimate Otherkin that I have met did not have an easy childhood or young adulthood. What they were was always there, but they did not always have an adequate explanation for it or even a word they could put to it. Many strove to repress their sense of something different about themselves and their reality, and quite a few reluctantly accepted their natures only after all other possibilities had been exhausted.
Even once acceptance has been achieved, their lives are not easy, especially because an awareness of magick and energy is a fundamental part of their being.

Now, i dont know if im otherkin or not, but almost always, i just want to finish this life up, and get on with the next. im tired of this mortal plain...
anyways, fascinating, isnt?
i wonder who among you, are more than what they seem...
