This last weekend, I went camping near Hagampo, found a sheltered spot at the northern end of the beach, and  enjoyed two great days before a nasty wind change on Sunday sent me packing just before the rain started... even had a swim in the sea, but it is starting to get cold.
I was pleased to see two people kayaking, I have a kayak but have not been using it much - very few people kayak here.

After Jejudo, I drove my wife last Friday to Seosan to catch the airport bus to Incheon, from where she then flew to Italy for a pilgrimage.

It was pouring with rain, but I wanted to go camping, so I drove up to Hagampo in Taean Maritime Park. But even though the rain died down, the wind around there was too strong, so after looking around at some of the beautiful beaches, I drove back to Mongsanpo and set up my tent where I usually camp. Very cold weather, a little again at night, and the winds continued, but I had a good time. A squirrel demonstrated his amazing ability to jump over 2 meters from tree to tree. When I went for a walk on the beach, the squirrel took over my camp, sat in my favourite chair and ate part of a pine cone, leaving the rest for me...

Today I'm on Jejudo at an international conference, where I presented a paper yesterday on L2 Digital Literacy. We are in the Ramada Plaza Hotel, and have just had lunch overlooking the beautiful ocean... I could get used to Jeju...

GRADES: POINTS RUBRIC

This is how I will grade your Task One, which is worth 12% of your final mark.

A: 4% to create an account,  become my Neighbor & leave message in my Guestbook.

B: 4% to post your photo and write a story on your cover, fill in your profile, create & decorate your Minihome, and become neighbors with TWO others.

C: 4% for creative involvement, e.g. lovely Minime, fine Minihome; and for adding English content e.g. Guestbook dialogues, Journal entries, photos with captions, etc.

Well I have just returned from six days camping at Mongsanpo - it rained ALL of Sunday night, and Monday morning I almost packed it in. But  it cleared later in the day, and  Tuesday was awesome...

Met some nice people, apparently I am known as "Robert, The Famous Solo Autocamper"... should have taken my camera, my camp looked great after I had reset my tarp several times and fine-tuned the arrangement...
