was to find someone like you
to see down deep inside me
below the surface of my skin
someone who won't admire what meets the eye
but respect what's in my heart
all i ever wanted

to stand beside me thru it all
no matter thick or thin
someone to love me
even after beauty fades in age

Very candid and to the point which is what poetry is. No offense but this reads a little more like a statement than a poem to me. It's a great start, maybe play around with unique turns of phrases or lyrics. Just an idea.=)

this isn't one of my best, but it is the most recent one. yeah, this is my first milestone, bcuz it is my hundreth poem. let me know what u truly think, i WILL NOT be offended by anything u say. even if u say u hate it. honesty is key!
